FRP
- Helping to improve rural life
Fife
Rural Partnership (FRP) was established in October 1996.
The overall aim of the Partnership is the alleviation of rural disadvantage
and the promotion of rural regeneration. This is to be achieved
through sustainable improvement for Fife’s rural population.
The Partnership members at present number some 20 agencies that
include statutory and public, private, voluntary and community organisations
in rural areas of Fife.
These Agencies comprise of all the major Service Deliverers in Rural
Fife.
This multi-agency, Partnership approach has allowed FRP to respond
positively and proactively to issues of concern for Fife’s
local rural communities and to support multi-agency responses in
supporting local people to find creative and sustainable solutions
to the rural inequalities and barriers they face This has maximised
resources and co-ordinated effort.
