Seminars
held on Charity Law
and Right to buy Legislation
Members
of community groups and various interested individuals attended
two talks in the Rothes Hall, Glenrothes, on April 24, dealing with
Charity Law and Right to Buy legislation.
Colin
Liddell WS, an accredited specialist in charity law, provided a
detailed insight to the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland)
Act 2005, while Richard Few, head of land reform at the Scottish
Executive, discussed the Land Reform Act and Community Right to
Buy legislation.
Many
of those attending took the opportunity to put questions to Colin
and Richard.
The
