on setting up a charity
Training sessions for Voluntary Groups
and Trusts on setting up a charity are being held on Monday, April
20, at Fife House, Glenrothes.
This
is the final seminar aimed at building capacity and skilling up
groups / trusts in rural areas.
The
sessions will be presented by Colin Liddel, an accredited specialist
in Charity Law, who will talk through the process of ‘Setting
up a Charity’ in the first seminar to be held at 4pm.
At
6.30pm, Colin will present a toolkit for ensuring delivering good
governance and procedures for Community Trust and Voluntary Organisations.

Workshops
organised
A series of workshops and events have been developed as a result
of a needs analysis being undertaken with those Rural Groups FRP
and VONEF are currently working with.
Rural Groups and Trusts said they wanted
support in those subjects contained within the programme and is
designed to "fill the skills" gap for groups, make you
and your organisation more effective, help you to compete for resources
and ultimately deliver your organisations aspirations.
